Remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in WW2 on the 80th anniversary of VE Day

As we know, this week marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day and to mark this significant anniversary Chris Essex (K69-75) has completed detailed research and biographies on all 84 OFs and I teacher who gave their lives during WW2.  These can all be read online by the public and hopefully descendants, in the Distinguished section by clicking here.

Here is a particularly good example of a completed one where there was lots to find and document https://www.oldframlinghamian.com/distinguished-ofs/captain-thomas-victor-somerville-dso-obe-mc-and-bar/

Where possible I have tried to source a photo of the person or their grave.  For the graves in northern France I visited all these back in 2014 & 2015.

I have presented the College with a bound folder containing all these biographies.
