OF Rifle Club – Guest Day Shoot

You are invited to come along on the afternoon of Saturday 5th September 2026 to the Short Siberia Range, Bisley Camp, Woking, GU24 0NY for a Guest Day Shoot.

The cost is £70 per shooter for 10 rounds of any caliber. Full payment is required before the Shoot. If time permits, an additional £10 cash on the day will get you another shoot of 10 rounds, again any caliber you choose.  A deposit of £20 per person will be required at the time of booking.

At 1.15 pm there will be a safety briefing and an explanation of the rifles available.  One-to-one coaching from the OFRC team. You will be shooting from a bench so no laying down in the prone position is necessary.

Target/Butt marking – You will have high velocity bullets cracking 6 feet above your head. Completely safe and better than the movies!

Soft drinks and sandwiches will be provided on the range

You must be over 14 years of age and will be provided with and asked to sign a declaration that you are not prohibited from being in procession of a firearm.

Following the shoot, you will have access to the prestigious North London Rifle Club bar.

What you can shoot?  There will be a variety of rifles to choose from:

• Military service full-bore rifles from WW1 and WW2
• Modern Rifles will also be available: Specialist Target Rifle 7.62mm. (We will also have a target rifle for left handers)
• Also an Eclectic mix of other rifles ranging from .22 caliber up to .44 magnum.

Important information

Target shooting is a safe sport as long as the safety rules are followed. They are there for your protection, so please be on the range on time for the safety briefing which, to remind you, will be at 1.15 pm. The objective is not to make you into a marksman but to give you an opportunity to fire a rifle that ordinarily you would not have access to.  Members of the OFRC will be there to help you and if you are interested in taking the sport up as a hobby, let us know!
