Chris Lenton (Hon OF) has been teaching Art at the Prep School and the College for 35 years. Over his career he’s made countless contributions to illustrate school publications with cartoons and character sketches.
The Old Framlinghamian Society of the Arts (OFSTA) is absolutely delighted to have worked with Chris to sponsor, with enthusiastic support from the College team, an exhibition of some of Chris’s most engaging work.
This will take place in Pauls Court on Saturday 12th October, to coincide with a Suffolk Gathering that will include a chance to watch a First XV match against Felsted.
The exhibition will be open from 2pm and will continue through the rest of the afternoon. Those who watch the Rugby will return for a post-match tea at about 4pm.
The subjects of Chris’s drawing are, working clockwise from Chris himself, at top right: Caroline Mallett; Martin Brown; Stewart Reeve and David Morgan.
To bring Chris’s exhibition to a wider OF audience, we will work with him to create an online version of his work, so look out for further news about this.
