OF runs London Marathon for great cause

Carl Witham (S06-11) says that after many years of deliberation, he has taken the plunge and made the decision to do the London Marathon.

He goes on to say "I will be running on behalf of The British Heart Foundation, a charity that helped my grandad through many years of need and I feel it's the time now to repay all their amazing hard work. Training has certainly had its ups and downs both physically and mentally. When you wake up early, look out the window and see the rain, the last thing you want to be doing is going for a 2/3hour run. But when you remind yourself of the benefit you’ll have on someone's life, it makes it all worth while. 

I hope, however small or large, the money I can raise will help improve and keep the outstanding work of The British Heart Foundation going. So please please give as little or as much as you can, everything will help!!  Please go to my fundraising page."
