Mr Leonard Septimus Reading
Royal Flying Corps (RFC). It would seem that it should have been VERNON JOHN (JACK) READING (1907) on the war memorial. He was born on 13 September 1895 and was the nephew of Leonard Septimus Reading (1892-94). 2nd Lieutenant Vernon Reading served in the Royal Flying Corp and was killed during WW1 on 26 March 1918. He is remembered on the Arras Flying Services Memorial.
