OF Appointed as Head of Suffolk School

After leaving Framlingham College, Philip Dougherty (G85-95) qualified as a Mathematics Teacher at Exeter University.  In his career, he worked as in this field at a number of schools in the west of England before moving to Lowestoft about 10 years ago.  There, he has worked at all 3 Lowestoft High Schools in various roles as Head of Mathematics, Assistant Principal and Deputy Head.

In September 2025, Philip was appointed as Head of Pakefield High School, Lowestoft, a 900 pupil co-educational secondary school catering for pupils aged 11 to 16 years.  Congratulations to Philip.
