Peter Howard-Dobson (R 65-69), Secretary of OFSTA, reports that he has been working closely with Andrew Cook (Framlingham College’s Director of Development) on plans for a joint Pupil and OF visit to the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair on Saturday 15th November 2025.
The WCPF was founded by Jack Bullen (G03-08) and his wife, Lizzie Glendinning, and this is now the tenth year of these increasingly renowned exhibitions – please see the attached article for more information.
OFSTA will meet the cost of the Coach journey, for pupils, to and from Woolwich, and Maria Clarke-Wilson (the College’s acting Head of Art) will promote the opportunity across Years 9 to 13. Caroline Mallett, former Head of Art at the College until 2015 and an Honorary OF, will be OFSTA’s representative on the day, and is looking forward to meeting pupils and OFs attending.
Peter says, “we’re keen to offer places on the coach to OFs and Honorary OFs with (or even without) an interest in the Arts, and with contemporary prints in particular. A seat on the coach will cost just £30 – an amazing bargain, and Jack Bullen has kindly offered discounted Print Fair tickets at £12 until 30th September or £16 thereafter. If accompanied by children, they will need a ticket but these are free up to age 16. If you’re interested, just contact Peter (secretaryOFSTA@oldframlinghamian.com) for more information or to reserve your place and arrange payment.
The coach is expected to depart from the College at 9.00am and to return by 7.00pm.
