The Framlingham side assembled on 18th May, a hot Sunday morning, at Gog Magog in Cambridge for the Grafton Morrish qualifier. The course was in fantastic condition and played beautifully.
The team consisted of Jonny Newton and Matthew Pennock, Fraser Johnson and Callum Pearce, and Dickie Graves and Harvey Finbow.
Newton and Pennock were out at the top followed by Pearce and Johnson, with Graves and Finbow third. Sadly, it did not quite go our way with the team struggling to find rhythm in any of the pairs. Putts were scaring the hole but never dropping and 71 points was not enough to qualify for the finals.
Our thanks are due to Harvey Finbow for organising the team and he would like to thank all players for their availability. We look forward to having another crack next year at trying to qualify for the finals.
