On 21 June the OFs assembled a strong team, including a substitute!

In the morning we took on Edinburgh Academy, winners in 2021 and runners up in 2022, in the main competition. Atton & Watts won, Schneidau & Hitchcock lost and Curle and Wharton lost.

Result 1-2.

In the Plate in the afternoon we faced Stonyhurst, another team who have a successful record in the tournament. Atton & Watts won, Howard-Dobson and Hitchcock lost and Curle and Wharton lost.

Result 1-2.

Although, disappointing to be defeated, the social side proved to be most enjoyable, visiting some extraordinary culinary delights.

OFs who have turned 50 are encouraged to consider putting their names forward for this event. It really is a relaxed format played at Worplesdon GC, a wonderful gem situated between Woking and Guildford. Next year the event is to be held Wed 26 June to Fri 28 June 2024.
