Tim Mitchell (R67-77) writes: London Suppers have not taken place for a few years. Simon Dougherty sought views about these previously popular events earlier this year. Fifty-one OFs kindly responded with their thoughts. Nearly 60% of those were in support of a lunch option, so we have decided to make a change and try this out!
An OF London Lunch will be held in a private room at the George in Southwark on Tuesday 10 February 2026. The George in Southwark is a remarkable pub with many stories to tell. Dating back to at least the 16th century and rebuilt after the Southwark fire of 1676, the George remains a fascinating indicator of London’s colourful history. Stepping inside the last remaining galleried inn left in London is like stepping back in time https://www.greeneking.co.uk/pubs/greater-london/george-southwark.
Partners will be very welcome.
Please put the date in your diary and we will be back in touch with more details. If you want to register your interest please contact londonsupper@oldframlinghamian.com
Arrangements for this event have been a team effort! Simon Dougherty will undertake the administration on my behalf and Chris Essex has arranged the venue and menu.
