New Exhibition for Peter Rodulfo at Chappel Galleries

OFSTA Member Peter Rodulfo (R 70-75) has a new and quite wonderful exhibition opening soon at Chappel Galleries (15 Colchester Road, Chappel, Essex, CO6 2DE). This will run from Saturday 28^th February until Sunday 29^th March 2026. The opening day starts at 12 noon and runs until 5pm, throughout which visitors might find a glass of wine available.

The exhibition catalogue shows a wonderful variety of Peter’s work, growing out of visits to Trinidad and Tobago, Croatia, and also featuring his home town of Great Yarmouth as well as other East Anglian locations. Click here

The exhibition is titled: Waiting for a Bite, and Peter’s introduction tells us why, when he says, “Although when I start a painting, it is based upon something that I have seen, I only have a numinous feeling of what the painting might become. For me, the process of painting is rather like fishing; I suspect that there may be something lurking under the surface and so I cast a line out and wait for a bite, not knowing which creature  will take a bait”.
