Will Sayer (G92-97) completes solo Atlantic crossing in first place

Way back at the end of January 2009 we published a news story on Will Sayer (G92-97) and his intention to take part in the OSTAR Atlantic Race, which is the world’s oldest solo ocean race – see previous report by clicking here.

We are delighted to report, that at 1300 on 17 June 2009, Will successfully arrived in Newport, Rhode Island in America. Not only was he first in his class to finish, but he had the fastest corrected time of all competitors. Our congratulations go to Will on this wonderful achievement.
