Patrick Spraggs (G 04-09) plans to turn professional later this year, and has crowned his final amateur season by winning the Suffolk Amateur Championship, which was contested at Haverhill Golf Club on June 9th.
Patrick put in two superb rounds of 69 for a gross 138, and was tied after 36 holes with local favourite, Lewis Whiting. However, Pat kept his cool and won a sudden-death play-off on the first extra hole.
All of us OF golfers wish Patrick every good fortune for his professional career.
