OF wins prize for best set production and lands film job

Recently graduated this summer, with a First from Wimbledon College of Arts, one of the prestigious colleges that comprise UAL, (University of the Arts London), Helena Anthony (V08-13) also won the prize for the best ‘set production’ for her work this year. Her degree in Set Design for Screen has secured her a position as one of the set production team with the filmmaker of the sixth detective drama series of Endeavour, which is being made this summer. Her degree work focused on highly detailed model making at 1/10 scale and the production of an animated film based on a 1979 song by Squeeze, Up the Junction. The model she has made, a suitably grimy interior of a basement flat, reminiscent of 1960s and 1970s digs in a London suburb, was used to create the film by stop-frame animation and varied lighting.
