New Moreau Scholars at First OF Council Meeting

The Society’s latest Moreau Leaving Scholars, Mimi O’Neill and Lewis Myers-Allen, became members of Council when they received their Scholarship awards from Dame Marjorie Scardino on Speech Day, and took the first opportunity to attend a meeting before joining a hundred or so OFs and guests at the recent Suffolk Supper.

If either of them had been  nervous beforehand, they would have been pleased to find that Ed Binder (Scholar 2009) and Jenny Binder (Scholar 2011) were also there. Both Lewis and Mimi were warmly welcomed by Simon Dougherty, Society President, and the rest of the membership – and were left in no doubt of the value that is placed on the contribution made by our Moreau Scholars in maintaining contact with their year-groups, and in organising social and sporting events on their behalf.

You can read more about Mimi and Lewis on the Moreau Scholars page of the website.
