On April 23 the Victoria Crosses awarded to two former pupils of Framlingham College, Lance-Corporal William Hewitt, 2nd South African Light Infantry, and Lieutenant Gordon Flowerdew, Lord Strathcona’s Horse, of Canada, were presented to the Imperial War Museum by the college head, Mrs Gwen Randall.
