The College are running an inspiring series of talks and conferences aimed at challenging and expanding the minds of current pupils.
They are looking for Old Framlinghamians who are passionate about a particular subject and would be willing to share their insights, research, or professional expertise with our students. Talks should be thought-provoking, insightful, and ideally expose pupils to areas they may not typically encounter in the classroom.
What’s involved?
Talks are typically 45 minutes, followed by Q&A.
Topics can range across disciplines – examples from past talks include: Murder economics, Fungal endosymbiosis and agriculture, The ethics of war, AI in industry, and Climate change in sub-Saharan Africa.
They are running both one-off talks and academic conference days (with 4–5 speakers per day).
Speakers who would like to contribute to one of the academic conferences below, are welcome to spend the day at the College, having lunch and listening to other guest speakers if they wish.
