Sir Frank Benson Kt, CVO, CBE (1888-1892)
Served in both World Wars. At the end of WW1 he was Deputy Controller of the War Office. He was General Manager of the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes from 1923 until his retirement in 1942. He was awarded a CVO in 1941 and was knighted in 1942.
