Mr Carl Winston Cassini (1937-1938)

Flying Officer. Took off from RAF Snaith at 0258 on 18 December 1944 on ops to Duisburg, but crashed into a wood South of Charleroi in Belgium with the loss of all crew members. Possibly involved in a mid air collision – click here for more details, kindly supplied by a non OF (Leslie Green). Buried at Leopoldsburg War Cemetery, Limberg, Belgium.
