Sgt, Glider Pilot killed at Arnhem and buried at Arnhem Oosterbeer War Cemetery, Holland. He was towed by Wing Commander Peter Bailey (K34-39) in the second glider to be dropped on Pegasus Bridge on the night of 5/6 June 1944 – D Day. Peter towed him again at Arnhem when he was killed by morter fire on the ground, after safely landing.
