Brigadier General William Hugh Dobbie CB

Services

Brigadier General William Hugh Dobbie CB (1874-1876)

Entered Army shortly after leaving Framlingham and rose to become Assistant Quarter Master General in the Indian Army. Served in Burmese Expedition (1885-87) where he was decorated and served in South African War (1899-1900). Was awarded Companion of Order of Bath in 1921. He died in 1922 at the age of 63.
