Leonard Squirrell print of the College offered to OFs via Tony Martin
Tony Martin's grandfather, James Mason Martin (OF 1888-94), was a significant patron and sponsor of the artist Leonard R Squirrell, and Tony (G 47-55) has a fine collection of Squirrell's works in all the media in which he produced them (oils, pastels, watercolours and engravings).

He was approached, recently, by a lady from Needham Market who asked if he would like to buy her copy of an aquatint engraving of Framlingham College - but since Tony already has this in his collection, he offered to contact the Society's website team to see if any OF would like to acquire it.

The aquatint is framed (as shown in this slightly distorted image), but would probably benefit from re-mounting and re-framing.  The engraving itself measures some 13" by 8" (330mm x 200mm), and is No. 11 of a series of 100, and has been signed by the artist.

The lady whose property it is seeks £200, and anyone who would like to acquire it should telephone Tony Martin on 01728 724814.
