OF Golfers: Highs and Lows at Grafton Morrish Finals
Back in May we reported that Gavin Cowell and his team had qualified for the knockout stages of the Grafton Morrish tournament for the first time since 1998. These were contested recently, and David Turnbull, OFGS Secretary, reports as follows:

The Grafton Morrish Finals were played at Hunstanton at the beginning of October where we were drawn against St Columba’s in the first round and lost 2 ½-1/2. The results were as follows: Gavin Cowell and John Wybar halved; Richard Graves and Peter Watts lost: Charles Plunkett and Richard Cullinan lost. The team played the following day in the Solihull Salver and scored a very respectable 74 points, coming half way down the field of 27, but only 13 points behind the winners, Solihull! The team was ably supported by Andrew Towler, Martin Lamb and Matt Stolls.
