Marcus Booth (Z 90-95) and Rob Baird (Z 84-95) are running in this year's New York Marathon to raise money for the Fire Service Benevolent Fund, in memory of their great school-friend Jeff Wornham (K 89-95) who (as previously reported here) died in a fire-service rescue attempt earlier this year.
Update: 14th Nov - They both finished and are back home. We hope to have news next week of the money raised, thrills & spills, Movie deal signed, etc. There was a big fund-raising party in London on Saturday 29th October, which was a great success and was attended by many contemporary OFs.
